The most bothering part in snoring is not the noise that your produce while you are sleep. First, do not eat too much especially before you sleep. When you are too full, your esophagus will be pushed upwards. Because of this, you will have more difficulty in breathing while sleep and this could worsen your snoring problem.

Second, if you smoke cigarettes, it is best to stop altogether. Or if you can not do it, do not smoke before going to sleep. Cigarettes make the airway swell so this makes it even more difficult for you to breathe easily especially during sleep.

Third, do not drink alcohol before sleeping too. Drinking alcoholic beverages does not only promote mucus development but it also establishes the air passage. So, you will find it more difficult to breathe.

Lastly, it is best to follow a regular sleep routine. This way, you will be able to avoid stress which also contributes to snoring. Have a regular time for sleeping and waking up everyday and make sure that you get at least 6 to 8 hours of sleep everyday.
